Organic Honey

Nectar de Provence, a concentration of natural ingredients.

Honey is recognized for its moisturizing, regenerating and purifying qualities. A delight for all skin types, even the most sensitive. Like all sugars, honey is hydrophilic, it retains water molecules and accordingly helps skin to retain its natural moisture.

Royal jelly a precious substance and exclusive food for the queen bee, it contains all the B vitamins and vitamins A, C, D, E and K. It also has a concentration of over a dozen essential minerals and 18 amino acids.
Propolis, a substance rich in nutrients, made by bees to protect their hives. Undeniably, rich in polyphenols and flavonoids, it combines great antiseptic properties with healing power and a very powerful antioxidant.
Honey extracts are obtained from the nectar of flowers in our region. They contain sugars, amino acids, organic acids, mineral salts and vitamins.

The Provence of my childhood was a warm and generous land where the fragrance of flowers and the taste of fruits blended mysteriously with the colours of the day and the rustlings of the night.

I can still remember the bluish light of the early summer morning gently caressing the lavender that carpeted our fields as the family left my grandparents’ house for a long day’s walk on the high plateau.

Then, as the hours went by, the heat of the sun, a relentless vertical vibration weighing down on our steps, forced us to seek the shade of tall trees or the cool bed of a spring to share, with a pleasure I can still taste today, the fresh fruit overflowing with juice that we had brought with us in a large wicker basket.

Finally, after the long rest of the traditionnal siesta, our little group wended its way quietly back trough the fields towards the big house, laughingly following the footsteps of the sun as it made its elegant withdrawal behind the screen of hills to make way for the beauty of the evening.

It was in the fullness of those joyful days that I discovered in Provence the authenticity of tastes, the music of sounds, the magic of shapes and colours, the emotion of touch and the sensuality of fragrances thanks to figs, lavender, honey, nougat, grapes, melons, mint, lime-blossom, verbena, oranges and cinnamon, in an effulgence of nature that you can discover in each of the products of our « Panier des Sens » range.
