We appreciate your business and trust. Since opening our first store in 1995,
we have learned a lot about the terrific products we sell. Please take a few
moments to peruse the information here to learn a little about us and a lot
about taking care of your French Quarter Linens purchase. Our first observation
is this: we're certain that you'll be astounded by the look, feel, comfort,
quality and durability of your new linens. Whether you're a dyed-in-the-wool
luxury linen customer or a first-timer, we're confident you'll be back for
more, month after month, year after year. We hope to earn your repeat business
through our simple customer service philosophy: we want you to be happy with
your purchases.
Don't forget that you spend one-third of your life in bed! New sleeping pillows
will make you feel reborn. Sleep with a down duvet year round, as it will
self-adjust to room temperatures. Our guaranteed hypoallergenic down products
enable everyone to sleep comfortably. Invest in the big 26” square European
pillows— three on a queen-sized bed will change your life for the better if you
read, eat or watch television in bed. Consider a luxurious mattress pad or
featherbed: words cannot describe how much you'll love sleeping on one! A
matelassé coverlet adds texture and function to your world of sleep— toss off
the duvet in summer and you are still covered. In winter it adds extra warmth
and gives that old-fashioned “tucked-in” feeling! We always sleep on flannel in
the dead of winter and on pure linen during the hot months. We hope our passion
becomes your passion and, finally, { sleep well }.
We seem to use the term “Egyptian cotton” frequently because we believe in its
virtues. All of our cotton towels and sheets are made from the long-staple
(fiber) cotton grown in Egypt. Many other cotton yarns are great, but they are
no match for their Egyptian cousins. Egyptian cotton yarns are silky, lustrous,
soft, absorbent and strong. Always insist on the gold standard of cotton:
Egyptian!
Thread count has become the buzzword of the linen business over the past few
years, but we want you to keep this issue in perspective. Thread count (200 and
above is considered “luxury” and it is the lowest thread count we sell) is the
number of warp and weft yarns per square inch on a loom. The more threads, the
tighter and thicker the weave. But other factors are equally important: the
quality of cotton in the threads (we sell only Egyptian cotton); the thickness
of the yarns; the complexity and numbers of colors in the weave or jacquard;
the high level of craftsmanship and design; and the meticulous finishing.
Please note that pure linen is not measured in thread count and flannel is
measured in ounces.
We would love to hear from you. Everything we’ve learned about our business,
we’ve learned from our customers. Do you have thoughts, observations, ideas,
errrr…. complaints? We want to hear it all! Write us at

To extend the life of luxury linens, we recommend alternating at least 3 sets
of linens. Store linens in a well-ventilated area in your home. Never store
linens in plastic bags which can yellow or otherwise affect their quality. If
storing linens over a long period of time, especially in humid climates, we
recommend wrapping linens in a cotton or muslin fabric.
